And while a large amount of your patients will tell their family and friends about the great experience they’ve had with you, the process a potential patient will use to follow up has changed, with the help of the internet and social media.

The first thing a potential patient is going to do is research your practice and not just your website but also your Facebook page because they want to see testimonials and evidence on a platform where there is less control and the reputation is shaped by its online community.

If a potential patient can see a strong online reputation, they are more likely to trust a practice and take action.
