The Snapchat store
Snapchat has been testing a new e-commerce feature which is currently only available to a selection of ‘Discover publishers’. This new feature will allow user to swipe on a product and purchase it from the snap store.
The idea behind this new feature is for Snapchat to develop its relationships with companies that are on the ‘Discover’ platform as well as increase revenues and make Snapchat more meaningful.
It will be interesting to see how this feature develops once testing ends and if Snapchat will open e-commerce options to other businesses.
